The little dots bonding square / washcloth is one crochet pattern that can be used in different ways!
As a bonding square this pattern is perfect to donate to a local charity / organisation / NICU / family with a preemie baby. It is especially useful to help parents bond with their babies while they cannot hold them. For this it is best to make this pattern in suitable 3 weight yarn with 4mm hook so that you get the drape and softness.
As a washcloth it is a great one! The bobbles are not too hard when made with 4 weight cotton and 5mm hook – in fact they are designed to almost ‘flatten’ for the bonding squares. But you will still get plenty of exfoliation and cleansing from these washcloths.
Regardless of whether you make the bonding squares or washcloth version, this is a great unisex gift that is suitable for all ages!
DIFFICULTY LEVEL:
Easy beginner as it uses slip stitches, single crochets, half double crochets and treble crochets to create this gorgeous texture.
