The Bee throw / afghan was designed to perfectly match our Bee Pillow. It is worked up using corner to corner (C2C). If this is new to you we do have a learn to corner to corner mini course on our blog. You can find out more about this design in our post here.
Pattern includes block counts for each colour so you can work out yardage needed based on your tension or stitch preference. There is also a larger version of the graph included at the end of the pattern.
Written instructions and graph are included in this pattern.
It is a great pattern for beginners and those experienced with C2C
Our patterns all share the same layout which is easy to read and easy to find important information you need, such as materials needed, sizing information, gauge information, and special stitches used as well as how to do them.
My blanket came out at 52” wide by 60” long using double crochets and a 5mm hook so it is a great size to keep or gift.
I used a 5mm hook and Caron simply soft for my afghan, except the grey in the wings. Here I had to use Paintbox simply aran as there was no grey in simply soft.
This blanket would also look fantastic if you used Paintbox Simply Aran for it all.
