Have a Patriotic summer with our Americana Coffee Beanie Cozy! Our cozies are made with 100% cotton yarn which makes them a great buffer against hot drinks (much better than those cardboard sleeves!) and an even better buffer against cold drinks’ sweat!
The Americana Coffee Beanie Cozy is designed with garlands of penants in mind, sticking to the Old Glory flag of America. Red and white stripes in the middle, surrounded by the dark blue. This definitely makes me think of the 4th of July!
You can, of course, make this in your favorite colors!
Materials Needed
100% cotton worsted/aran weight yarn in 3 colors: red, white, and blue. I used Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran in Rose Red, Paper White, and Royal Blue. You can find a direct link to that yarn in the blog post, which is linked above. I only used 1 skein of each color. Paintbox cotton skeins are roughly 90 yards each. I had plenty of each color to make a second CBC!
