The Kate Wristlet – a perfect wedding accessory?
Introducing the Kate Wristlet … Are you getting ready for Wedding Season? Can you go to weddings where you are? I know we still have limits placed on us here in the UK, which sucks but I understand why it is necessary. So many weddings had to be postponed last year and re-arranged. So for some of you there may be a couple of weddings on the calendar for this year!
Perhaps you or someone you know has recently gotten engaged and is planning their wedding?
And then there is prom!
With so many ways to make this little bag your own it would be suitable for quite literally any event or occasion.
The Kate Wristlet
Lots of questions I know but whenever I look at this one I cannot help but think that it would be a perfect bridesmaid gift or accessory. It looks great in any colour and works up quite quickly. If you made it in cotton rather than acrylic like I did it will hold its shape a little better for a more formal event and you could embellish it with beads as you made it which would look STUNNING.
What about using a sparkly yarn and use it as a gift bag for a gift card, some toiletries, a bottle of perfume, or even some favourite sweets or candies?
I actually stopped mid way through designing this one and HAD to go try out another design in this stitch …. it was like a worm and the idea would just not leave me alone! So for the FIRST time ever I put down a design and project I was in the middle of and started another one. It turned out perfect! You see I thought it would make a stunning baby bonnet. And it does!! So there is a baby bonnet in (if I recall correctly) 9 sizes and matching baby blanket set coming soon too.
We have quite the Kate Collection going on – a hat and scarf for those colder weathers, a wrap for spring and autumn, a coffee beanie cozy, this wristlet, and soon the baby bonnet and blanket, and the Kate mug cozy coming later in the year. I am thinking maybe a long cardigan would finish the collection off nicely. What do you think?
