The Logic Square is Square 1 of the 2022 CAL and was designed to help you use those scraps! The international day I chose to represent with this one is World Logic Day which in 2022 was celebrated on 14th January.

Raid your scrap bucket and make this fun, quick corner to corner afghan Logic Square. The smallest sections have only 6 blocks of the same colour, so you can use some of those smaller scraps that you have been saving because they might be useful at some point.
This one uses the traditional corner to corner method in HDC – but you can use double crochet or use the chart for a smaller tapestry crochet square.

❤ LAYOUT:
The PDF Pattern includes the chart, written instructions and colour block instructions.
❤ SIZE:
Mine worked out at approximately12.5″ using the HDC but with DC it will be around 16-18″ depending on your tension.
❤ MATERIALS:
- #4 worsted weight yarn scraps – use what you have. The colours are easy to swap out.
- Size H-5mm hook
- Scissors
- Yarn Needle

Will you be making each block or several of these to create one larger Logic Afghan? You could work it in DC to make a throw pillow, join several for a table or bed runner or make it in a chunky t-shirt or ribbon yarn as a small bath mat. The possibilities here are endless.
