Description
The weather is definitely turning here. The leaves are starting to change colour quite quickly and I am so looking forward to those brisk autumn walks with my pooches and family! The Casey set is a set of his and hers scarves which are perfect for autumn and winter. Whether you are thinking about donating, gifting or making for yourself they are a great project. They require #4 weight yarn and a 6mm hook to give them bounce and that ‘squishiness’ that you just love to touch.
Each stitch used has a right and a left handed video tutorial to go with them as well as written instructions, including the foundation stitch at row 1, so this is a great project for a confident beginner or an experienced crocheter.
My scarf measure 60’’ long and 7.5’’ (female) or 9’’ (male) but you can very easily amend these sizes to suit your requirements or preferences by amending the starting chain or foundation row by a multiple of 2 stitches!
All of our patterns are tested by experienced crocheters for accuracy and to check measurements and fit etc.
To make the Casey Set you will need any #4 weight yarn and a 6mm hook for this one. Stripe it, use a cake or make it in a solid colour! I used less than 500 yards per scarf.
