Looking for an easy filet blanket crochet pattern? If so this one should be perfect for you.
This gorgeous unisex blanket is an easy filet design that beginners can make without issue!
It uses only double crochets (US Terms) and chains with an easy repeat to create this stunning, elegant design.
This easy filet blanket pattern is a great gift idea for just about anyone this year. You can make it for yourself, for your mum, sister, daughter, aunt, grandad, father, son, teacher, doctor or donate it.
Despite the texture in this one it is actually a warm crochet blanket. We have certainly enjoyed snuggling under it this winter – in fact that is my daughter reading her book under it. She has claimed this one!

❤ SKILL LEVEL:
This is an easy beginner pattern – if you can double crochet and chain you can absolutely make this blanket!
My patterns all share the same layout which is easy to read and easy to find important information you need, such as materials needed, sizing information, gauge information, and special stitches used as well as how to do them. Note: there are no special stitches in this pattern.
This pattern as written creates an afghan that is 44” by 64” so is a good size but really does work up quickly. The stitch multiple is included in the pattern notes so you can amend the width. To adjust the height simply work fewer or more repeats.
• #4 weight yarn of your choosing – you will need approx. 1750 yards (1600 meters)
– 5.5mm hook
• Stitch markers (optional)
• Tapestry needle
