As the weather turns colder and winter sets in there is so much fun to be had outdoors. This crochet beanie hat pattern is perfect for keeping any head warm from pre-teen to pensioner. And it’s unisex so you just need to pick an appropriate colour yarn to use!
Samantha’s Hope Beanie crochet hat pattern was created to raise awareness of colon cancer for the #CrochetCancerChallenge. You can find our blog post on the backstory to our involvement here.
Pattern includes adult sizes small, medium and large (but to create it for children simply use a 5mm hook and aran or #4 weight yarn.
Special stitch instructions are included for the camel and silt stitches. Made with Chunky or #5 weight yarn and a 5.5mm hook for additional warmth so the hook size gives the finished hat extra coziness. The extra length the beanie ensures that those ears are protected against the winds.
