Description
Does Christmas really feel like Christmas without a stocking hanging somewhere in the house? Why not make the Fireside Cottage Stocking for the new family members to mark their first Christmas as part of your family?
Stockings have become something that I gift to everyone in our family at some point. I love the fact that we have used a modern stitch to create a gorgeous and timeless pattern that you will undoubtedly come back to and use again and again!
Textured, cozy, Fireside Cottage Christmas Stocking!
Use it as decor or fill it on Christmas Eve. When we were kids we used to have a sock hanging at the bottom of the bed and my parents would fill it with a satsuma, some colouring pencils and a couple of other bits in the hopes that it kept us quieter for a little longer. I’m not sure it worked but we loved those filled socks on Christmas morning!
Our easy to read instructions are very detailed. We provide special stitch instructions, video instructions, and row by row, round by round instructions.
Start with the “boot” and then we work the heel, foot, and toe much like a sock! Then you add the cuff and you’re done!
Only used 1 skein of each color: but you can make yours in a single colour, or any colour combo you want to! Why not make the foot or boot stripes? Try it with a variegated yarn!
Sizing
22.5” long (toe to top), 7.5” wide.
