Ebbing Tides – a crochet washcloth pattern

This crochet washcloth pattern will make a great gift idea – perfect for last minute gifts, housewarming gift ideas, birthdays teamed with favourite soaps, or even baby showers. Cotton washcloths are ideal for babies because they are great for sensitive skin! It works up really quickly and uses around 70 yards of cotton yarn.

The Ebbing Tides is an intermediate crochet washcloth pattern as it uses crossed treble crochets to create the effect with basic cabling techniques. There are no front post or back post stitches for this one and a full video tutorial is linked in the pattern.

It has a 2 row repeat which is easy to remember while working the washcloth.
