This bunny crochet wall hanging is a quick make with 31 stitches and 39 rows and uses tapestry crochet methods to create the piece.
It is perfect for decorating a nursery, child’s bedroom, or classroom. It will also make a great easter decoration for around the home.
The pattern includes:
- a graph for the main section
- written instructions to accompany the graph and explain the border and how to attach the dowl.
- Links to videos for yarn under, colour changing and carrying yarn and how to attach your dowl.
This is a free pattern on my blog post which you can find here.
I used #4 weight cotton and 5mm hook for my crochet wall hanging which created a piece that is 7.5” wide by 9.5” high completed (but before the dowl and hanging string).
You can use any weight yarn and appropriate sized hook, but be aware that this will affect your finished measurements.

❤ LAYOUT of the Bunny crochet wall hanging pattern:
My patterns all share the same layout. They are easy to read and easy to find important information you need, such as materials needed, sizing information, gauge information, and special stitches used as well as how to do them.
Once completed this wall hanging is approximately 7.5” wide by 9.5” tall before the dowl and hanging. This is providing you meet gauge, which is not necessary.
You can also amend the yarn weight and hook size to easily adjust the size of your wall hanging without it affecting the written instructions.
- #4 weight yarn – I used 50 yards of Paintbox Yarn Cotton Aran in both yellow and grey.
- 5mm hook
- Tapestry needle
