Description
Who doesn’t love a gorgeous stocking pattern? And Robin’s Stocking pattern is perfect for anyone – even the pets! (Yes, my dogs have stockings too!)
So far, Robin’s Stocking pattern is one of my favourite patterns by Sunflower Cottage Crochet! It’s the perfect seasonal gift or accessory.
From a distance, it looks like we use little delicate cables in this pattern … but we don’t! We actually use the sedge stitch, worked in rows with single crochets in between. When it is sewn together the rows go up and down. So the effect is just perfect for a farmhouse Christmas stocking pattern.
These stockings look great anywhere in the home – hang them by the fireplace, along the bannister, at the end of a bed or on a wall! They really shine wherever they are. they are also a good size to put smaller gifts in or even a letter from Santa himself!
Embellish the stockings any way you like – add a little bone for your dog, an initial in felt somewhere, a couple of Christmas snowflake buttons here and there perhaps…
I’d say this was suitable for confident beginners onwards – don’t forget if you have any questions you can contact us and we will help you!
