Problems with Ravelry?

Not all of the patterns featured in this event will be Ravelry downloads! Some may be direct downloads from the designer’s site. However, if it is a Ravelry Pattern and you are having issues getting the code to work there are a couple of things you can try:

  1. By far the biggest issue is that when using a direct link to a pattern Ravelry often signs people out. At the point of entering the coupon code please double check that you are signed into Ravelry! This is almost always what the problem is.
  2. If you have checked that you are logged in please check that the coupon code is correct and that there are no spaces hidden at the beginning or end of the coupon code. This can happen especially of you copy and paste the code.

  • Helen, I have found if going straight from Facebook to the link for the pattern and going to ravelry I get bumped out. When I get to the pattern I tap the 3 dots and click on open system browser and there I am logged in. I don’t have any problem if going from your emails to ravelry.

    • Unfortunately Ravelry does like to log people out especially when using an external direct link so you need to check whether you are logged in at the point of entering the code. It’s a bit annoying at times! But this is handy to know. Thank you Michele

      • I’m glad I figured that out because it was annoying! I’ve been just looking at the events from your daily email. Thank you so much for sending the links everyday. Have a great week!

  • I cannot for the life of me get this free pattern. You click on the pic and there’s no info (that I can see) to get the pattern or where to click! If you hit the ‘download”, it takes you to the paid pattern where there is a code space, but in her comments above it says no code required!!! Help! Time is running out!

    • Hi Diana, I responded to one of your comments in fb too 😊 if you click the photo of the wrap it takes you to my blog post about it. The button you need is at the bottom of that post. It is white with little purple flowers on the bottom half. This take you to an about me page and the file is at the bottom of that page to download directly into your device. The shop buttons will not get you the free pdf pattern

  • Thank you Debbie for the Daisy scarf! It looks beautiful. My Nana’s name was Daisy so I will be able to think of her often with this one!

  • I’m not getting all my notifications of the different bog hps after I have signed up, Do I need to sign up every day. I missed yesterdays spring blog hop. I haven’t had this problem in the past. My email hasn’t changed.

    • Hi Susan, my email system is showing that you marked my daily emails as spam on Saturday 12th but then resubscribed to the events email yesterday. Perhaps you accidentally clicked the spam button? Fingers crossed re-subscribing helped. Helen
