12 Days of Christmas Crochet Event 2025: Daily Free Patterns & Festive Fun

12 Days of Christmas Crochet Event 2025: Daily Free Patterns & Festive Fun
Spread the love

I’m so excited you’re here — this little tradition has become one of my favourite parts of the year. It’s my way of saying a big, heartfelt thank you for all the support, encouragement, and general yarny enthusiasm you’ve shown me throughout 2025. You’ve helped my small corner of the internet grow more than I ever expected, and I’ve had an absolute blast creating with you.

If you’ve been hanging out with me for a while, you’ll know that Kristine from Ambassador Crochet is practically part of the family at this point. She’s my accountability buddy, design-sounding-board, and “talk-me-off-the-ledge-when-the-math-is-math-ing-too-hard” friend. Naturally, she’s joining me again this year to bring even more festive fun your way!

Don’t Miss a Single Gift!

If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably had at least one heart-stopping moment where a social post disappears into the abyss right when you wanted it most. And during a daily-event? Absolute chaos.

To keep everything calm, simple, and delightfully stress-free, you can sign up for the daily event emails. You’ll get:

  • A reminder every day of the 12 Days event
  • Quick links straight to that day’s gift
  • Announcements for other events I’m part of
  • Occasional extra goodies because… well, it is Christmas
  • And yes — details for this year’s Scavenger Hunt (prizes included!)

Ready to join in? Just tap the button below.

How It Works

Starting 1st December through 12th December 2025, a brand-new surprise will be waiting behind our advent doors each day — either from me or from Kristine. Each gift will only be available for 24 hours, so make yourself a cuppa, pop over daily, and snag your goodies while they’re fresh.

Here’s the plan:

  1. Visit this roundup post each day.
  2. Scroll down until you spot the day’s featured image.
  3. Click it to hop over to the blog post where that day’s gift is waiting.
  4. Look for the special event graphic for that day (it’ll stand out — promise).
  5. Click it to claim your freebie.
  6. Head to the next page, and your download will be ready!

It’s simple, it’s fun, and it’s a lovely way to treat yourself during the busiest month of the year.

The Patterns:

Remember – all free pdfs will only be available for 24 hours!

1st December – from Ambassador Crochet

Kristine is hiding the first mystery gift. This one is a fairly quick make and looks fab. It would make a great gift idea – but I would be tempted to make one of these for myself.

2nd December – from Sunflower Cottage Crochet

Today’s gift is one that I hope brings a lot of coziness to your holidays. It has an easy but fun repeat and the effect is beautiful once completed.

3rd December – from Ambassador Crochet

Hiding behind door number 3 is a pattern that should work up quickly and keep you warm from Kristine. It is great for crocheters of all skill levels and will look fabulous in solids, variegated or cake yarns.

4th December – a gift from Sunflower Cottage Crochet

Today’s gift is from me! And although it is an older unisex pattern, I have been working hard with my testers to upgrade it quite a bit. It is now available to work up in 2 different ways AND in 10 sizes for each. It really is one for the whole family.

5th December – A Quick Project by Ambassador Crochet

Today’s gift is perfect for both kids and adults who are on the move all of the time – whether you love hiking, running or going on long walks. And it is also perfect for those who need to keep their hands free while out and about.

6th December – One of my favourites!

Today’s pattern may be a smaller one – but it is, hand on heart, one of my favourites to make. I just love the way it looks when it is finished. I make many of these throughout the year to keep, gift and donate.

Days 7-12 can be found on Kristine’s blog here.

And that’s the magic of this year’s 12 Days of Christmas Event!
