Spread the love

Looking for a quick and easy crochet Christmas tree project that helps bust your stash and adds a handmade touch to your holiday décor? You’re in the right place! This sweet little crochet Christmas tree ornament is part of my Scrappy Holidays Christmas in July CAL—a celebration of festive creativity and clever stash-busting using the classic granny stitch.

If you’ve already joined the CAL, then you know the theme: five scrappy projects, five fun patterns, and zero pressure. This ornament is the third pattern in the event and uses a clever twist on the granny stitch—working corner to corner (C2C) style. But don’t let that scare you! I promise it’s much simpler than it sounds, and perfect for adventurous beginners looking to try something new.

🎥 Video Tutorials for Beginners

If you’re more of a visual learner (I see you, YouTube crew!), I’ve got video tutorials for both right and left-handed crocheters. So whether you’re a seasoned hooker or picking up your hook for the first time in months, you’ll have step-by-step guidance to help you whip up your granny stitch crochet Christmas tree with confidence.

You can find all 5 of the patterns featured in the Scrappy Holidays CAL for free on my blog posts. The other 4 are:
