12 Days of Christmas Crochet Event 2024: Free Patterns, Gifts & Festive Fun!
Welcome to the Third Annual 12 Days of Christmas Event!
The holiday season is here, and I couldn’t be more excited to kick off our third 12 Days of Christmas event with you! This is my favorite way to say “thank you” to all of you who have supported Sunflower Cottage Crochet throughout the year. 2024 has been a year of growth, creativity, and connection, and I’m thrilled to end it on a high note with this festive celebration.
Once again, I’m partnering with my dear friend Kristine from Ambassador Crochet, who has been such a huge part of my crochet journey. She’s not just a co-host for this event but also my accountability buddy, brainstorming partner, and someone I genuinely admire. Together, we’ve crafted 12 days full of surprises, patterns, and goodies to brighten your holiday season.
How Does It Work?
Starting Monday, December 2nd, through Friday, December 13th, a new gift will be hiding behind each day’s advent door. Each day will feature a special treat from either Kristine or myself, and you never know what you’ll find—free PDF patterns, exclusive surprises, and more!
Here’s how to join in the fun:
- Visit this post every day during the event (between 8th -13th December).
- Scroll down to find the day’s featured graphic.
- Click the image to be taken to the blog post where the day’s surprise awaits.
- Look for the special event button (example shown below) on the blog post to claim your gift.
But don’t wait too long! Each gift is only available for 24 hours, so mark your calendar and check back daily.
Never Miss a Gift!
We know how easy it is for social media posts to get lost. To make sure you don’t miss a single gift, sign up for our event email list. Each day around 7am EST during the event, you’ll receive a direct link to the day’s surprise right in your inbox—no hunting required! Plus, you’ll get access to updates about other events, CALs, and a few extra goodies sprinkled throughout the year.
What Can You Expect?
This year’s lineup is packed with a mix of festive patterns and practical designs to add some holiday cheer to your home or your gift list. Whether it’s a quick and cozy hat, a beautiful home décor piece, or something perfect for gifting, there’s something for everyone.
Here’s a Sneak Peek at the Schedule:
- Day 7: December 8th
Grab a great pattern by Kristine! - Day 8: December 9th
I am sharing a fabulous surprise you won’t want to miss. - Day 9: December 10th

You asked for this one when I gave away my Highland Scarf pattern. So here it is!!

Hi Cat,
I am sorry you have had issues with this. This might be because you need to clear your cache to see the update and pull the links through at your end. Sometimes when you have visited a post before your computer or device will pull through the last viewed page and not the updated one.

Thank you so much for this Christmas Countdown! While I haven’t been able to have the time to sit down and make any of the patterns, I have saved every single one. I look so forward to making them.
You are very welcome Cindi! I hope that you enjoy them when you get round to making them.
